What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to work with cross-functional teams throughout the company to build new features, and make improvements to existing features, with the business goals and financial metrics in mind. More specifically, this position will require experience managing complex and technical requirements while also understanding and executing the needs of stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a background in technical integrations, understands the financial numbers and importance of data analysis when making decisions, and aligns with our company mission “to be a positive force.” This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to and elevate our technology team and our company. What You Will Do: 

1. Help to define product vision and strategy by:

  • Working closely with technology to develop specifications of features and system integrations, understanding the software from an out-of-the box and customer perspective.
  • Thinking agile - Define the correct steps and focus to achieve the initiative goals while breaking down the delivery into staged delivery.
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and implementing product features and system integrations based on the business needs and opportunities.
  • Streamlining existing procedures across departments.
  • Prioritizing based on data and efficiency gains — making things work smarter, better, and simpler.
  • Take part in developing & executing the product roadmap that considers multiple major projects with competing timelines & resources.
  • Manage a roadmap of improvements and ensure they are measured against business goals and metrics pre- and post-delivery.

2. Work with teams to develop and execute these ideas by:

  • Writing detailed product specifications and product testing plans to create new functionality and features for our product, business processes, tools and/or systems.
  • Managing the integrative UX/Design process with our internal team from conceptualization to final approval as it pertains to projects.
  • Identifying and tracking ongoing operational bugs and fixes for current systems through
    completion.
  • Creating and maintaining regular stakeholder and management reports to track progress against plans. May require trade-off conversations depending on complexity of the need and limitations of the platform.
  • Giving presentations and demos as needed.
  • Working in an agile environment as product owner of assigned products.

What You Will Need: 

  • At least 6 years of product management experience in a technology company, preferably, experience in a B2C digital company
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably Science Degree
  • Ability to think tactically and strategically to create a compelling product vision that aligns with company initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product
  • specifications.
  • Possess influential and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all
  • levels and cross departmental team members.
  • Ability to inspire and coordinate cross-functional teams toward task and project completion.
  • Balance appropriate tradeoffs between business goals, user goals, scalability/maintainability,
  • time-to-market, and process efficiency
  • Communicate the vision and plan for your roadmap in a digestible way, soliciting and
  • synthesizing feedback.
  • Technical writing experience in both product and/or project management functions a plus.
  • Experience using data and metrics to make decisions.
  • High degree of efficiency and motivation in work habits in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience using data and metrics to validate assumptions and assertions of business
  • value.
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment.

Bonus Points For:

  • Previous Experience in a programming role
  • JIRA and Confluence proficiency
  • Fluency using Mixpanel, Google Analytics / Suite and PowerBI Data Analytics Tools

The starting annual base pay for this position is $120,000 - $135,000 per year. The actual base pay offered may vary based on candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

In addition to the base pay, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus as part of the compensation package.
